Welcome to Willow farm Stud Equestrian Centre, where we like to feel we able to offer every horseowner something whether it be the serious competition rider or someone who wants just a gentle hack round the lanes. With our excellant facillities and a UKCC British Showjumping Coach based on site we feel we have something for everyone. We also have the added benifit of being able to rehalbilitate horses that are recovering from injury with our giant sized walker and quiet tracks to long rein horses round.
Carl Belson UKCC Level 3 Showjump Specific Coach
Carl Belson has a wealth of experience and has been involved with horses all his life. On leaving school Carl trained with Pat Manning (one of the few Fellows of the BHS, the highest equine qualification in the UK) and Dick Stillwell, both were trainers of the Olympic team during the eighties. Carl also trained under Captain Mark Philips whilst participating in the young riders programme. Currently Carl is coached by Corrine Bracken, the team trainer to the British Junior and Young Rider show jumping team. Carl has competed at advanced level eventing and national level showjumping, however having retired from riding due to injury he now focuses entirely on coaching. Carl can often be seen at shows helping his resident rider Luke Thompson or many of his other p
